A MESSAGE FROM JASON SCRIBER,

Property Valuation Administrator

 

It has truly an honor to serve as the Henry County Property Valuation Administrator. 

 

Since becoming PVA, I have attended and completed educational classes set forth by the Revenue Cabinet, Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board (KREAB) and the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). As a result, I have earned the following designations:

 

 

Certified Kentucky Assessor (CKA)- Kentucky Department of Revenue

Senior Kentucky Assessor (SKA)- Kentucky Department of Revenue

Cadastral Mapping Specialist (CMS) - IAAO

Certified Residential Appraisal - KREAB

 

 

I held the following positions within the Kentucky PVA Association:

 

President (2009 - 2011)

Executive Vice-President (2007-2009) 

Executive Committee

Budget Committee

Technology Committee

 

I have also served as the President of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors during 2002-2004.  I have served as the President of the Kentucky Chapter of International Association of Assessing Officers (2007), and have served on the Public Relations Committee (1998-1999), Nominating Committee (2000-2001), Assessment Technology Committee (2003-2004) and current Chair of the Professional Designation Committee. 

 

We continue to make a concentrated effort to improve every aspect of the PVA office. We continue to have a public access system in our office for retrieving information about property located in our county. We also now have a GIS system inplace that allows us a more detailed mapping system of the parcels within our county. 

 

Our main objective is to serve the citizens of Henry County. I encourage you to stop by the office and visit.
